Do you remember the performance where I was the captive in the tiger cage?????Those were some wild days, my friend!

I just heard you call in to WPR and was TOTALLY fascinated and intrigued by your comments and description of some of your performance art pieces and especially your water interest! I am very much into environmental issues, especially clean water & clean air. SO EXCITING!!
I checked your calendar - nothing in the Milwaukee area. Have you performed in Milwaukee? any chance of returning?
Keep up the great work!

BillyX the Curly Worldly Wooly Wizard of Art Funk-a-Delics!!
We did some art projects together and I was a member of his first Swimmin' the River Crew at Lake Itasca, Minnesota. We used my 17' Lowe-Line Combo Canoe/Boat, now a antique, last one made in 1976. I still have it and have modified it into a super canoe for the Florida aqua scene, it can paddle, row, sail and is powered with electric & gas motors.
I was living at the Fredrick Street House (commune) on the lower east side of Milwackee when I met the X-Man, he was passing out political leaflets at music gatherings on the Bradford Beach area on Lake Michigan.
Billy's SWELL he doesn't DWELL that's why he's done so WELL, HERE & NOW with SHOW & TELL. He visited with me on his Greyhound Bus Tour here in Orlando. If any of you BillyX fans pass through O-Town give me a jingle and you too could win a door prize with a day on the St. Johns River in my soon to be famous Combo Canoe/Boat!!
I'm also interested in connecting with my friends of that wonder & awe filled time of enlightenment, who I have lost touch with. My e-mail is hokahey64@yahoo.com

Ya gotta be crazy to make art like this, and insane or ignorant not to love it. Well, so am I. Never regretted a minute, and it's been near 3 decades now. Aargh, let's go NYC an' blow their bilges, ye scurvy arty boy.

I was BillyX's roommate in college. Booth House was a notorious den of radicals, artists, musicians and scalliwags. Those were the good days. BillyX and I have remained close thoughout the years; for that I am glad. Hey Billy, remember getting arrested for "sleeping in the open air" in Fort Lauderdale? Ah, the adventures we had as young, happy lads. Billy is the energizer bunny of the art world. Go Billy go!

Don't know if I'm a guest but who cares, a Billy X Guestbook is just too cool to pass up. I miss hanging out, burying, winter fires, intergalactic printing, cows and brandy toasts with my dear friend. Here's to ya.

Billy and I were in the same squad in Nam in 1968. I just learned that we were also in VVAW (Vietnam Veterans Against the War). It is refreshing to know, after all this time, that we found our way back to the right place. I see you also found your way to Winona, MN...my home. Welcome Home, Billy Curmano!

Well, well, nice website, but I don't see Billy splashing in the kiddy pool (representative of The Swim) in New York City's Central Park. Guess you can't show them all...
But cool nonetheless, and some vintage photos too...
All the best, and keep on crankin' it out!
